Balance

“Balance” is that moment — the moment just before. Before the step.
Before the fall.
Before the flight.

The child — or the woman, or the soul — stands at the edge of the world, yet knows no fear.
She has never learned the word “danger”.
She knows only trust — trust in herself, in the earth beneath her feet, in the unseen that holds her.

Her foot is thin as a thread of fate.
And her whole body sings.
Gravity is a mentor, not a tyrant.

This is not bold courage.
It is innocent courage, the kind we once possessed when we were young and the world had not yet begun to tell us what “must not be”.

Here the edge is no abyss.
It is a border between “already” and “not yet”.

And she does not fall.
For the one who trusts in balance — does not fall.
He does not defy nature — he simply flows with it.

The wind here does not strike — it carries.
The rock does not threaten — it supports.
The empty space does not call toward ruin — but toward freedom.

This is a painting of the art of living on the edge, without fearing the abyss, and without seeking it on purpose.

Simply…
to be able to stand there,
where so many others fall —
and to dance.
