Prayer

The hands do not carry the ship — they are the ship. The physical and the spiritual merge, as if the human being himself has been transformed into a vessel, meant to carry his soul across the sea of time.
The fingers curve like ribs, like wooden planks from which a destiny is built. This is no longer a prayer sent upward, but a prayer embodied in flesh.

A prayer in which one does not wait for a miracle — one becomes one’s own boat and surrenders to the current, without losing one’s form.
And this is the most beautiful part — the feeling that faith is not a gesture, but a state of being.
Here, Boyan has said what words cannot: that a person is at once the hands that pray and the ship that moves on.
